deep in a rain forest a fire blazed. this fire is no ordinary fire this fire is powerful and enchanted it flicked and spat as a dark figure approached.

“After all this time, I’ve found you.” the fire knew it was in trouble. it spat a small flame at him testing him. the man jumped back chuckling.

“Lights out little guy.” as he suffocated the flame killing it soaking it. but the flames force knocked the guy off his feet and off a cliff and down ferrets nearby looked down. But it was so dark that they fell in themselves.

slowly a black figure crept across the pitch-black lawn unaware that he was getting watched. high up in a tree an owl watched the figure with black beady eyes. ‘Stupid bird!’ he said as quietly as he could as he tried to shoo it away. the figure stepped into the square shaped house. He stepped on a creaky piece of wood beneath his feet he jumped back startled. the sound woke the owner of the house and in about three minutes he is now there in the room with him. ‘When will he leave?’ he asked himself in his head not wanting an answer he noticed he was looking at a lump on the floor.  sounding like a low budget squeaky toy a ferret came out from beneath the rug and ran to the black figure out of sight he picked it up put it in his pocket and ran out the door across the lawn and into the sunshine ‘after all this time I found you!’ he said with delight.

He smiles when he tells the old woman her tooth must come out because he likes the sight of people suffering and getting hurt. From this, we can tell that his personality is that he has no feelings for other people, only for himself. Other clues from the book are that he wants to be the richest man in the world. This shows he doesn’t like where he is in life right now. He doesn’t like his dog, he doesn’t like getting hair on his suit. He probably got a dog because it was on his bucket list.
